Retired inLeague Classic (2003-2026!)
Numerous bugfixes and quality-of-life tweaks. 2026.10.2 4d ago (Updated/Migration: User Editor tabs) User editor and user custom fields tools migrated to the 20th anniversary app.
(Updated/Migration: Clone Schedule) The schedule cloning tool has been migrated to the Game Scheduler. Copy all games in a program (optionally limited to one division) from a source date range onto a future range beginning at the target start date — optionally keeping the same team match-ups and including comments — with a preview before committing.
(Updated/Migration: Scores & Standings) Program scoring settings have moved to the new Scores & Standings tab: the maximum goal difference per game, the score type, and the tiebreaker order — each tiebreaker can be enabled or disabled and reordered, including score-modifier categories as tiebreakers.
(Updated/Migration: Score Modifiers) The legacy score transactions page has been replaced by Score Modifiers — manage the categories and types (label and point values) used for score adjustments per program.
(Updated/Migration: Email Preferences) The email opt-out tool has been migrated to a public Email Preferences page, reachable from links in league email. Opting out stops nearly all league email and takes effect immediately; unsubscribe links for addresses that aren't user accounts (e.g. secondary contacts) are handled as well.
(Updated/Migration: Authorization Center) The Authorization Center has been migrated from inLeague Classic (webmasters). Review all system roles and program-level access assignments with user counts, open any of them to see who holds it and who assigned it, and revoke roles and program assignments individually or in bulk.
(Updated/Migration: Donations & Sponsorships) Donations and sponsorships have been migrated to a public page: choose a category or sponsorship level, set an amount, optionally give anonymously, and pay by card or ACH. Categories and the donation/sponsorship flags are managed from the Control Panel, and the navigation entry reflects what the league has enabled (donations, sponsorships, or both).
(Updated/Migration: Division Standings) Division standings have moved to the 20th anniversary app at a public page — per-program/division/season date range to see rank, team, games, and points, plus volunteer points, goals, goal difference, adjustments, and tiebreaker details where the program uses them (with coach names when logged in). The page is linked from the game schedule, and legacy rankings URLs now redirect to it.
(Updated/Migration: API Documentation) Interactive API documentation has moved into the 20th anniversary app with improved code examples.
(Enhancements: Referee Scheduler) Referee scheduler 'All Programs' option is now the default, instead of showing only one program at a time. Program filter similar to the division filter allows multi-select.
(Enhancements: Referee Management) Referee Management columns are now sortable, and referees show their number of games — total and for the selected season.
(Enhancements: Practice Scheduler) Practice scheduling options now include Saturday and Sunday; the Assign tab is offered in more situations, at-capacity messages are clearer, and assignment options sort by team.
(Enhancements: Report Builder) Volunteer reports gained a Date of Birth field and a Referee output group with games-per-season and games-total counts.
(Enhancements: Report Builder) A saved report's "Show API Endpoint" action provides the POST URL and JSON body for retrieving the report through the API with an API key.
(Enhancements: Email Manager) Inline images are now supported when composing email — images embedded in the message render inline in the preview and in recipients' inboxes.
(Enhancements: Email Manager) The Team Staff recipient lists now include every volunteer assigned to a team — coach titles, youth coaches, and other volunteer assignments such as team referees. 2026.10.1 Oct 3 (Updated/Migration: Picture Day) The team event and picture day scheduling tools have been migrated from inLeague Classic. Administrators schedule team and free-text appointments on a day-by-day timeline — coaches and that day's games are shown with each team while assigning — and publish the schedule; a Picture Day Times page lists published appointments ordered by team or time.
(Updated/Migration: Coach Feedback) The coach feedback tool has been migrated from inLeague Classic. Parents rate their child's coach on five questions (one rating per parent, coach, team, and season); division directors, volunteer administrators, and webmasters can review season rating reports, and volunteer administrators and webmasters may open individual comments.
(Updated/Migration: Volunteer Points) Awarding volunteer points has been migrated from inLeague Classic. Volunteer administrators and registrars can award points to one user or many at once — point categories carry default values, plus date and comments — including sending selected users directly from an event roster; each user's award history appears on a new Volunteer Points tab in the user editor.
(Updated/Migration: Referee Management) The "Quick Ref" referee management tool has been migrated from inLeague Classic. Referee administrators review referees who volunteered for a season — with division and region filters, certifications, and risk status — and can update mentor and referee scheduler flags or deactivate season volunteer preferences; only edited rows are committed, and chief referees are limited to their divisions.
(Updated/Migration: Player Editor) The player editor's system log has been migrated to a new System Log tab, listing the player's log entries for registrars, webmasters, and inLeague staff.
(Updated/Migration: Scholarships) Scholarship management has been migrated into the 20th anniversary app: a Scholarship Data tab in the player editor manages per-player scholarships, and a Scholarships tab in the user editor manages family-level scholarships — a percentage or fixed discount applying to registration, team payments, and events, with optional expiration.
(Enhancements: Picture Day) The scheduling timeline supports configurable hours and interval (1–60 minutes, persisted league-wide), a configurable number of appointments per time slot (Control Panel), rich-text notes displayed with the schedule, and a "next available slot" helper.
(Enhancements: Coach Feedback) A new per-program "Coach Feedback Alerts" option reminds parents on the dashboard when coach feedback is pending.
(Enhancements: Report Builder) "Locked from referee scheduler" is now a selectable, filterable, and updateable game field, and bulk game uploads may set the lock as well.
(Enhancements: Report Builder) Referee schedulers and volunteer administrators can now refresh the results of shared custom rules they can access.
(Enhancements: Report Builder) Transactions may now be selected and filtered by Program.
(Enhancements: Matchmaker) Bye games are now handled explicitly — odd team counts show "1 bye per round" with bye matchups highlighted, each round displays its date range, and schedule day counts include the final day.
(Enhancements: Playing Fields) Playing fields may define an optional Field URL; field names in schedules, dashboards, team calendars, and referee views link to it, falling back to Google Maps directions when the field has a complete address.
(Enhancements: Family Profile) When attaching a user to a family profile, administrators may now keep the user's existing family memberships instead of moving them; users already in the family are flagged. 2026.9.3 Sep 18 (New Feature: Master Schedule By Field) Added a Schedule By Field view listing games by playing field, with field and date-range selection and an option to include unpublished games.
(Updated/Migration: Game Confirmation Emails) Confirmation and cancellation email blasts for selected games migrated from inLeague Classic, including bulk sending across a program and division with per-game selection. Partial sends now report counts of emails sent and games skipped for lack of recipients.
(Updated/Migration: Team Assignment Email) Team assignment email blasts migrated from inLeague Classic, with preview and an option to include family rosters. Division coordinators are limited to the divisions to which they have write access; league-wide sends remain available to registrars, competition managers, webmasters, and inLeague. Partial sends report sent and skipped counts.
(Updated/Migration: Division Staff Auto-Promotion) The division staff auto-promotion tool has been migrated from inLeague Classic. Division Coordinators/Reporters or Chief Referees may be promoted to the next highest age division in bulk, falling back to neighboring divisions when no next-highest division is available.
(Updated/Migration: Roster Locks) Roster locks migrated from inLeague Classic. Locks may be applied to individual team rosters, to an entire program, or to an entire region; locked rosters reject new assignments and removals until unlocked.
(Enhancements: Invoice Templates) Added a "resend email" button to the payors view of an invoice template, and invoice template links now open in a new tab.
(Enhancements: Attendance & RSVP) RSVP options for players are now displayed on the team schedule. 2026.9.2 Sep 11 Brand new menu system that summarizes available features based on your account access role
The Return of Team Events
Game confirmation & Cancellation emails 2026.9.1 Sep 5 (New Feature: Game Schedule Calendar Subscriptions) inLeague now produces an ICS Calendar file for each team that calendar clients like Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar can subscribe to and receive automatic updates (update frequency varies by provider).
(New Feature: Lock Referee Slots, Game-Wide) Building on the existing individual referee slot lockout, the game scheduler can now lock entire games from referee signups right when they are created, or in the quick edit popup.
(Updated/Migration: Control Panel) The control panel, along with user and player custom fields and volunteer code management, have all been migrated to the 20th anniversary app.
(Updated/Migration: Birth Certificate Management) The birth certificate review and approval tool has been migrated from inLeague Classic.
(Updated/Migration: Player History Tab) The player editor now has a Team Assignment History tab showing every team a player was assigned to (for more than two days), with season, team, coach, date assigned, and assigned-by — including custom rating values.
(Enhancement: Volunteer Approval Queue) The volunteer approval queue gained a "bulk" button for background check approvals, live risk status display/update in the queue, and smarter handling of bulk selections where reject is disabled for some rows.
**(Enhancement: Report Builder Bulk Updated) Report Builder bulk updates are now enabled, including waitlist bulk operations.
(Updated/Migration: Event Batch Upload) New Event Batch Upload tool (registrar/system admin/eventAdmin) — upload an XLSX of events, preview parsed rows, validation errors, entity-name mapping, and bulk-create committed results.
(Updated/Migration: Coach Eligibility Rules) Program administration now supports configurable coach eligibility rules, with the ability to link eligibility rule sets to programs.
(Enhancements: Report Builder) Report Builder gained a standard "Grade Check Report" — registered players whose grade is too high or too low for their core division (new "Registration Reports" group).
(Enhancements: Coach / Team Assignment Custom Question Display) Player and volunteer registration question answers (per child, per question, showing which parent answered) now display on the Coach Assignments and Team Assignments pages via a selection modal.
(Enhancements: Game Scheduler Sticky Summary) Added a sticky summary view to the scheduler, sticky headers on playing fields, "Bye" hidden in playing fields, and cross-gender game swaps allowed.
